My wife passed away this April 2020 she was sick for many years. She died in her sleep next to me. After over 30 years of being with her I was in awe of her. She was very special and I always felt like a lower species of human being around her. This song brings me to tears every time I listen to it. Marines are not allowed to cry without permission but I always cry when I think about her. SIGH.

This day and age, everyone wants to feel special. Neo-liberal, delusional jackasses, who think they know what's best for all, come up with asinine tag lines, designed to play to the ego of the undeserving. If everyone were special, then no one would be special. That isn't even realistic and is indicative of delusional thinking. Unfortunately, those people who generally are accepted as special, are usually only special in the very thing that made them special. But their egos and delusions of grandeur have made them think they know what is best in all things, when in fact they are acting out of basic ignorance, self interest or both. Just because they had the insight to create a successful product or the talent to be a famous actor, it doesn't mean they any advance or special insight into anything else. So I find even the term "special" to be somewhat offensive, as it is usually used as a mask to hide evil, ignorance, idiocy, illiteracy, some other negative trait or some combination thereof. Our former president, trump, was and is a very special person! Remember that before deciding you wan to be special. I would rather be great at something.
