So as promised I am continuing Kid A. This was a difficult one because when I eventually upload the full album compilation, this will obviously be the first track, and when the melody came in it had to have that same impact that the original track has. The opening went through 14 versions before it turned out like this.
I was originally going to try and put Optimistic out after The National Anthem, but I quickly moved on to working on How To Disappear Completely, leaving Optimistic very unfinished. I made excellent progress on How To Disappear Completely but I just was feeling the urge to work on something else. Maybe it was Kid A fatigue. After starting and failing to finish other projects like Spice Up Your Life Orchestral Version and Mystery Of The Anomalies Emotional Version I went back to some Primeval transcriptions which was a nice change of pace and scratched that particular itch. Two weeks ago I uploaded a version of Don't I made a back in January, and last week I uploaded all of the transcriptions I had done in that week and an orchestral version of Cretaceous Sea which I kind of messed up on with regards to the mix but oh well, we learn.
So when returning to Radiohead, instead of going back to How To Disappear Completely (I often find going back to unfinished projects tougher than starting a new one) I felt like I had the energy to do what I knew was going to be one of the hardest ones to get done - Everything In Its Right Place. And by really sticking with it for the whole week, I got it done and to a level that I'm happy with. Should also lead into Kid A quite nicely with the pads, which I expect to be a deceptively challenging track but one I look forward to doing. Not sure if I'll do Kid A or How To Disappear Completely next. I guess we'll have to see. Very possible I upload an old project for next week, as I will likely fail to complete anything in time.
Everything In Its Right Place is a song by Radiohead from their fourth studio album Kid A. I do not own this music. I do not financially benefit from the use of this music. This is a non-profit video.
KZbin likes it if I put related text in the description so here we go:
Radiohead are an English rock band formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in 1985. They comprise Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards); brothers Jonny Greenwood (guitar, keyboards, other instruments) and Colin Greenwood (bass); Ed O'Brien (guitar, backing vocals); and Philip Selway (drums, percussion). They have worked with producer Nigel Godrich and cover artist Stanley Donwood since 1994. Radiohead's experimental approach is credited with advancing the sound of alternative rock.
Radiohead signed to EMI in 1991 and released their debut album, Pablo Honey, in 1993. Their debut single, "Creep", was a worldwide hit, and their popularity and critical standing rose with The Bends in 1995. Their third album, OK Computer (1997), is acclaimed as a landmark record and one of the best albums in popular music, with complex production and themes of modern alienation. Their fourth album, Kid A (2000), marked a dramatic change in style, incorporating influences from electronic music, jazz, classical music and krautrock. Though Kid A divided listeners, it was later named the best album of the decade by multiple outlets. It was followed by Amnesiac (2001), recorded in the same sessions. Hail to the Thief (2003), with lyrics addressing the war on terror, blended the band's rock and electronic sides, and was Radiohead's final album for EMI.
Radiohead self-released their seventh album, In Rainbows (2007), as a download for which customers could set their own price, to critical and chart success. Their eighth album, The King of Limbs (2011), an exploration of rhythm, was developed using extensive looping and sampling. A Moon Shaped Pool (2016) prominently featured Jonny Greenwood's orchestral arrangements. Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Selway and O'Brien have released solo albums. In 2021, Yorke and Jonny Greenwood debuted a new band, the Smile.
By 2011, Radiohead had sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.[1] Their awards include six Grammy Awards and four Ivor Novello Awards, and they hold five Mercury Prize nominations, the most of any act. Seven Radiohead singles have reached the top 10 on the UK Singles Chart: "Creep" (1992), "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" (1996), "Paranoid Android" (1997), "Karma Police" (1997), "No Surprises" (1998), "Pyramid Song" (2001), and "There There" (2003). "Creep" and "Nude" (2008) reached the top 40 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Rolling Stone named Radiohead one of the 100 greatest artists of all time, and Rolling Stone readers voted them the second-best artist of the 2000s. Five Radiohead albums have been included in Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" lists. Radiohead were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.

Jigsaw falling into place is my second favourite RH song after Idioteque. It's on my list and I did start doing it a while back but it's a difficult one to get right. Idk when I'll finish it but it will happen eventually. Thank you for the suggestion!
