My favorite band currently. Great choice to react to the whole album. It's a masterpiece, but the rest of their discography is also phenomenal. If you like them already you won't be disappointed with the rest. It's musical poetry. Keeps you company even when you don't listen to it and you just play their songs in your head (or radiohead).

This album is absurdly good. It hooks you with two great, rockier songs, then it starts to depart with subterranean, taking you deeper into its melancholic alienation, then, after exit music, you're left in a state of stunned reflection. THEN it hits you with let down, probably the greatest radiohead song. It's relentless, never boring. Anyway, this comment is ending up drivel

OK Computer is considered by most to have been one of the best albums of the 90s. It is a huge leap sonically from their previous album The Bends, which is not a bad album at all. It is Radiohead’s masterpiece in my opinion, and they played around the world touring the album for 2 years. When they started thinking about recording another album, they were so tired from their tour that the band almost broke up. The result was a radical change in their sound for their next album Kid A. And they have consistently put out great music ever since. I saw them in concert a few years ago, and it was an amazing show.

This may be my very favorite rock-guitar-oriented album of the '90s, and that was a *great* decade for rock-guitar-oriented bands and albums! "OK Computer" is more than just a "rock album" though. It's akin to a truly great cinematic experience, of the kind that rarely comes into one's life. It still moves me and takes my breath away, twenty-three years after I first bought it and heard it in full.

Changed the game, rewrote the rules of “rock” with that record. Changed me...the following pair of more electronic beauties are your reward for surviving the intensity and beautiful angst of “OK Computer”, but it remains their flat out masterpiece. Later productions have been excellent musically and sonically, but how many musical apocalypses can be expected from any one artist? Awesome. Stoked you're doing these guys. Can't wait for pt2 and the review. When a friend first introduced me to this album at the time of release, I didn't connect with the production...but there were puzzles and messages in the songs that i couldn't shake. It took years of travel and some hard life lessons and finally the album just clicked for me seemingly out of the blue...I just woke up one day and the jigsaw fell into place (pun intended), and Radiohead's ventures into ambience and electronic music following this album have meant their music has resonated with me ever since.

Great reaction, I really love this album and what I liked the most is that you're very open minded about hearing new stuff, letting yourself feel music as it is.

I’ve taken a liking to your method of reviews/reactions. It feels very contemplative, and I can tell you’re analyzing the complexities.

I remember one review in the UK press called it punk floyd, which is probably the best description I've heard. A unique album.

Like many others, this was my first Radiohead album. It was recommended by an all music guide book to be purchased first if you wanted to get into the band. This was 2001. Never looked back.

Thanks for this man. Really enjoyed it. One of my favorite albums of all time. And you have a calming voice which puts one at ease. If I can catch the chill vibes while someone listens to OK Computer for the first time and shares their thoughts on it, that's a total win.

Man, this band is incredible. I really recommend checking out their albums Kid A and In Rainbows. (I mean tbh, besides their first album, all of their albums are at least good, all of them besides Hail to the Thief are in my top albums all time, but those albums give a good showcase of their different sounds). And of course, Thom Yorke's lyrics are always on point, great reaction!

IMO Hail to the Thief is underrated. I love almost everything on there. The only problem with it is that it’s a bit overstuffed; it doesn’t cohere as a whole.

I love every song on HTTT except Backdrifts and that is not a bad song. I think that HTTT is a really great but disjointed record.
