As Jonny greenwood (guitar player multi instrumentalist for RH) is a conductor of the London contemporary orchestra who also idolizes Penderecki - this is the one of the first RH tracks where those influences come through so clearly - you see it moving forward with pyramid song (maybe the best RH tune) and certainly on all of moon shaped pool - but if that type of composition floats your boat I highly recommend pyramid song, day dreaming, burn the witch among others.

Nothing wrong with being a classical guitarist and listening to music outside of your wheelhouse to gain insight and inspiration. I always am reminded of Jose Gonzalez' interpretation of Heartbeats by The Knife. The two songs, even though nearly identical in their basic structure and lyrics, contrast wildly while bringing very similar emotions. It can become a great experiment in the right hands. Thanks for your time reacting to one of the most emotionally piercing songs in their repertoire.
