Takes me back to a late 90s cover band I was rhythm guitar in. Needless to say we weren't quite as good as this version. Great memories of a Radiohead head era Ive barely listened to in 20 years. Must hit up Pablo Honey and the Bends ASAP.

This has long been my least favorite Radiohead album track and one that I've never seen bothered to be covered... but MAN am I impressed. FWIW, I just went from watching one of your synth tutorials and was blown away by both how much you know about the Prophet 08 as a synth, but also how to get even the most nuanced RH sounds out of it. That takes amazing dedication. Cut immediately to a cover of an arguably "greatest miss" which uses none of those technics, and it's brilliant. Someone below said something to the same effect, but I think your vocal take had more passion for the song than Thom's original. Finally, as an audio engineer myself, I LOVED seeing the use of Squier versions of the band's original equipment rather than, say, cranking it out on a $6k PRS. Really shows proof that the proficiency of a player (i.e. practice and dedication) is far more important than the price of your gear. It really transcends a cover and feels like more of a heartfelt tribute (sounds a bit douchy reading it back, but I hope the message isn't lost.) Seriously love your channel- particularly the equipment notes and end result patches etc included in the video notes! Keep up the amazing work!

I’ve been using KZbin pretty much since it started. I can honestly say this is the best cover version of any song I’ve come across. What a remarkable talent. Can’t say how very hard the vocals are in there, whilst the singer makes this looks very easy. I’m really quite blown away. Still find it odd to think that Hungerford‘ s Michael Ryan was the “inspiration” for this song. Back to the cover version this gets 10 out of 10 probably the only cover on KZbin worthy of that. Great editing as well.
