RadioMaster Boxer Flight Modes (FM) and Global Variables (GV)

This tutorial video will assist you to set up different rates for your control surfaces using Global Variables. If you want to change a value across multiple mixes then Global Variables are the way to go. They are a very useful tool within EdgeTX if you need to repeat a value across many mixes. Set up the Global Value and wherever you need the value replace the number with GV1 etc.
We will also go into Flight Modes and their uses particularly relating to GV’s.

hey, nice tutorial on the flight mode topic, actually im curious how to set up those sounds :D your radio is telling you, when you switch the modes, would be pretty neat when wearing the goggles to have a proper vocal feedback

Nice video Bill. So what happens if I want to make S1 or S2 my max throttle for a drone? Do I have to go into the radio's global variables or is it in the model's variables? How would I go about doing that?

That would not be advisable your throttle should be on a gimbal. If you want to use S1 or S2 to control the throttle you could by changing the source from the gimbal to S1 under Inputs throttle but I do not advise you to do this for safety reasons for when you need to drop the throttle quickly in an emergency even though you could gets disarm.

Hello Bill, first of all I appreciate sharing your knowledge with us, thank you very much. I search a lot and I can't find anything about how to uninstall a lua script. I installed FM2M toolbox0.82, and when I want to activate it, it is stuck in user config (3-10). I would also like to remove the games from sys/Tools. By the way, I'm using a radiomaster boxer. Hi, all you need to do is remove the SDCard from your radio insert it into your computer goto Scripts, Tools and delete the Lua you want to remove. Please make a back up of your SDCard before deleting anything. The games are a lua script. I am pleased you are finding my video useful.
