Radiomaster MT12 with ELRS: Range Test

Oh my goodness... The range is unbelievable!
Test rules:
-Driver did not move from the spot and used a "spotter" to guide the car once Line of Sight was not achievable.
-Compared stock radio (TQ radio supplied with RTR kit with Slash vs the MT12 with ELRS receiver supplied with the package.
Test Results:
-TQ (Stock) Radio: Stopped responding roughly 800 ft. from the driver.
-MT12 w/ ELRS: Telemetry loss around 2000 ft. but radio link was still active around 2100 ft. Did not achieve radio loss but prematurely ended test due to spotter calling it quits.

-Radiomaster MT12 with ELRS receiver supplied
-Traxxas Slash 2wd Brushless on 3s

so the rx was not sealed in its rx box ? box left open

we had to switch them out on the spot so yes, it was left hanging out.

I have the elrs model.. and i have question, the orange cable (that comes with er3c receiver) must attaching to the receiver or not?

that is for voltage telemetry, it is not necessary to run with it unless you want battery voltage readings.

not much standard controllers make 600m looks like built in elrs is trash so if you need to buy other elrs this controller is overpriced
