Radiometric and atmospheric correction of satellite images in ArcGIS

Do you know why need radiometric and atmospheric correction of satellite images? In this tutorial, I have explained why, when radiometric and sun elevation correction is needed. Also, I have shown how to convert the Reflective band DN’s to TOA reflectance using the rescaling coefficients.

Clearly from the Metadata, REFLECTANCE_MULT_BAND_1 = 0.00002, it's same for all the bands
