You could actually look at these vlogs to follow the cancer journey alone but what makes people stay and repeat watch them is the fact that Emily... (and Aisha ) was such an infinitely beautiful person.... really top class in every way. I try to limit my time looking at them simply because they usually end up having me in tears over the loss of her. I can't stop though because she inspires me so much I can't stay away.

Many years ago, I had a brain tumor and after surgery they had me on steroids for months and all I wanted to do was eat!! I gained a lot of weight, but I worked it off later. When my hair started to grow back in, it felt prickly - it was so weird! But I will say that in the summer heat, it was almost refreshing to not have all of that hot hair on my head and neck. Anyway, you look amazing and your wonderful spirit really shines through. Keep on fighting, girl!!

Morning meds.. I’m jealous... I’m five YEARS out from transplant and I take about 35 *(pills, not different meds, that count is at 21)* in the morning and 25 at night to replace hormones my body cannot produce due to death by chemo, treatments for side effects that came from chemo and the donor stem cells, pain killers, migraine meds, mood adjusters, neuropathy meds, I could go on.... I wish I were half as strong as you!

My treatment was so heavy with steroids I bought a stool that fit in the cubby beside my refrigerator. The muscles in my legs hurt so bad I would perch while raiding it for food.☺😋 you might figure from that you are MUCH more driven than my sorry rump! So glad day 14 was so great.

@Emily Hayward...my daughter and I have been watching you for about 4 months and she said something to me today that brought me to tears...”Mom, I love Emily and I want to make her something very special to help her feel better, so Can I, And you send it to her far away home?!” That made me cry because she is showing compassion and care for what is technically a stranger, even though we don’t feel you are...But she always makes things that’s artsy and crafts, and does a beautiful job...She actually makes pillows, and that blows me away my young child does such an amazing job at it. But she wants to know what your favorite thing is...Like, on my pillow I Have puppies and kittens, my Moms pillow is high heels...So what would you like to have on yours?! It would mean the world to her to do this for you! How can I get ahold of you personally to get an address or P.O BOX?! Please answer if you can! I'm just wondering if you get vitamin D deficiency? I did a course recently and they mentioned that people who have skin cancer are more prone to that because they are obviously super careful about sun cream so it's hard for them to get the balance of exposure. I know that's the least of your worries if you do just curious really. You're amazing, your looking amazing as ever. Never miss a vlog. Hope Aisha is feeling better.
