This song means so much to me and my partner, our son was in intensive care fighting for his life and we put this song on in our private room as the Drs worked on him in the icu he was only 3 days old and had a collapsed lung and needed an emergency operation on the heart side of his body. Ive never prayed since being in the back of a chinook getting dropped into heavy taliban fire, i prayed and asked for my son to be saved and he was! Hes now a happy & healthy 2 month old! This song got me through a seriously difficult time. Thankyou Drayton

A decade ago, I lived in a strorage shed in Bonners Ferry, ID in the dead of winter. Thankfully, the first time i found myself there in 0 degrees Fahrenheit weather, somehow there were blankets close by to wrap myself in. This is nothing im proud of. My waking hours were spent shooting up meth and stealing from cars to spend more time at the local casino. Christ is the only reason I'm alive. Thank you, God 🙏

My grandma just passed and whenever I’d go to her house bitching about life she would tell me I’m just pitchin fits and everything will be ok. After 28 years she was the only one that saw the broken little boy behind the man that stood before her. She was my rock. R.I.P nene, love you!

Can i ask if things got better after getting sober? My ex and i split up ater 7 years. Last 4 years were using. We found sobriety on our own, and JUST got in contact again after a year. Feels amazing, and things seem so much better, buutt im scared shitless of the crazy screaming arguments, and all else that came with the drugs. We are keeping it on the low right now, as EVERYONE thinks we are toxic to eachother, which we were on drugs, but every time we got sober before relapsing, it was utter bliss. Like its been now. I know we're not ourselves when we're on drugs, but im scared that side will eventually show🥹

I live in Upstate NY by the Vermont border and we have one country music station 107.7 WGNA and they play the absolute worst garbage out there like Florida Georgia Line among others. Most mainstream country stations play talentless hacks who have their music written for them. It's a breath of fresh air to hear real artists out there.

And my grandmother who was living directly next to him passed away May of this year and I'd always say "I don't mind at all" every time she'd ask me to do something for her. This song truly saved my marriage. Seth (yes, the public figure Seth McGrew- Wrestler- Technique- spelling wiz) and I weren't able to get married until 2014 (Thanks Obama). It began beautiful, but as every marriage, we hit that seven-year itch. Heavan quickly turned to hell. We fought like cats and dogs. Even though I had the superior strength and overall power, my lover's technique was simply too good, and he beat me 10/10 times. My nights were restless- the couch was my sanctuary. One night, I went to a dive bar in Catoosa, OK with just a friend. While we sipped on margs, a man sang this song. Quickly, my attention was caught- I felt the warm embrace of music, shielding me from the pain of heartache. Memories of our first kiss flooded my mind, the time where it was raining and we were at a festival or gazebo or something fr like that. For the first time in forever, I felt love. I left my good, close friend who is just a friend and drove home. Coincidently, Seth also listened to this song and his heart burned with the desire for me that it once had, like that time on that pier overlooking the city that we highschooled and danced in the rain. We hugged. I forgave him for the time he left the kitchen lights on and he forgave me for my constant infidelity. Now we are doing great and run a bed and breakfast with our two Austrian sheep cats. I am not allowed to see my friend who is just a friend, but it is SO worth it. Thank you, Drayton Farley, for reigniting our spark.
