Great videos Damian, these help my morning coffee go down well. Any thoughts on how you might approach a compound radius?

Thanks Dave! I don’t think this would work for a compound radius. I might try setting it up with the pivots at 2 different settings but I’ve a feeling it won’t work. Although the sander cuts a straight radius I adjust it in the final sanding so it ends up becoming slightly conical. I also adjust the shape of the board slightly above the 12th fret which helps.

Thanks Keith. It was a few years ago and I can’t remember the name of the supplier but it was a place that supplied parts for diy cnc machines. They are readily available from a few places. I designed it and worked out the dimensions so they cut it all to length. I had to get a couple of slots machined for the height adjustment and some bushes made by a local shop. It all bolted together pretty easily.
