I just picked up a Greddy cat back to replace my eBay exhaust. I love the Greddy exhaust. I also have a eBay header and “high” flow mid pipe. It sounds so good.

My favorite exhaust tone wise has been the HKS single exit, paired with the BHR catless midpipe. Ended up settling on getting them for myself after i heard it in person. (Yes its loud, but still more quiet than Harley Davidsons, believe it or not)

Rad brotha ... so would you recommend a rx8 as a good "entry" into the radical world of rotory engines and building?... i have a built mx5 i did from ground up myself , minus the machine shop board the cylinder walls 30 thou over cuz i aint have equipment for that , but i did every other part including port n polishing my own head ... so to say i love cars , mazda mainly lol and building and braking and repeat , is a understatement lol .. but i have not had the chance yet to dabble into the rotory lyfe yet (altho i am itching to badly , just tryi g to find best start).. so figure it time to start asking around to see what is the best start point .. anyways peace and love bro keep it rad stay safe and build on.. l8z famz and keep having fun brotha

Man I just replaced my whole drive shaft on my fb rx7 and I still have a nasty vibration when letting the clutch out from a stop. Only after the car has drove awhile. I hear it might be oil getting on the clutch. Have you ever heard of this?

Sounds good, penalty doesn't sound much louder because the cat is the major restriction. Interested to see what kind of difference it makes on the dyno...🤔

the diff in how ppl see the Rx8 and how reliable they re is so diff from USA to EU (general) and the miles on the cars for sale is diff like you see much higher miles in the EU cars

My FC still has the stock 34yo cat. I don't know of any aftermarket cat that will survive the rotary's hot rich exhaust. Cat back 5zigen exhaust with a sweet deep rotary sound. Boost is really dropping off at higher rpm so I'm guessing the cat is starting to be a restriction.

Cat back would flow better remaining single exhaust. Cut off and seal the 2nd muffler at the split.

3 inch Borla changed the exhaust note. Cleaning the cat out made all of the gains. Couple of ponies...

Very interested in all those bolt-ons to see what they make. I was one of the people that spent 1 grand on a REV8 racing beat catback. I would bet it doesn't even make 3hp more lol. Still no intake/tune/ or mid pipe. Definitely interested to see if any of it is worth it
