Next time you get a bait stealer like that one guy try this. Drop down then lift up slowly so you can feel the weight of the fish. Your videos are some of the most informative inshore fishing information out there, thanks.

I live in Pa now, and the one thing I miss is fishing near bridges and near inlets. I used to fish almost every day. I used eat what I caught and more than once made supper for 30 people. OMG do I miss those days of catching, cleaning, and cooking, what I caught. Thank you for reminding me how special fishing is.

Bro your 100 percent right. I have 2 babies so I can’t afford to visit the bait shop regularly let alone spurge on expensive tackle lures or rod reel combos with the amount of fishing I do. Fish don’t give a single f if you spent $350 on your combo vs $35. I take good care of my stuff my ugly sticks are 10 years old and my penn reels look beat to hell but spin smooth as a hot knife through butter

Another great video to help me unwind after a 9 hour shift on my feet. Love your attitude.. Don't change a thing. You've caught hundreds if not thousands of fish in front of us, obviously you know what you're doing. I've got rods from Star, St Croix and bull Bay, but for some reason every time I go out the front door the first one I reach4 is my Ugly Stik intercoastal.. All $46 worth LOL if you ever find yourself on the east coast in the Melbourne area let me know, we got some killer fishing over here.

Man, you're a household name in my family, literally. My mom knows you because every time you catch a fish you give a thumbs up my nana absolutely ADORES and LOVES you. Her favorite episode was with the floating grill. Man, I've never heard her say "THERE YA GO!" and start clapping when you finally made it work, LOL. As far as you using the cheap product, screw what they say, dude. I bought a Penn Pursuit 4 based on your advice and I'm going to Walmart Friday to buy me a Zebco rod with a cheap reel for sheepshead too! I honestly don't think they know how the structure works. You've been catching a crap ton of fish on cheap rods, so at this point, I'd just ignore it. Every damn person comes onto KZbin pretending they're a specialist in SOME kind of field. Keep up the good work, might invest in me a good ole' sportsman.

JC hi, I am super excited every time you release a new video , I don't know where you find the energy and how you remain so committed and excited every time you catch a fish whether its big or small. I am from South Africa and have fished from the age of 5 so that makes it 65 years of fishing. My question is would it at all be possible for you to courier range of your favorite pompano jigs and teasers to SA. Prepaid prior to dispatching. Let me know if you would be interested in helping out an old sea dog.

I'm originally from Fort Myers and it's nice to see ya fishing farely close to my home and heart. Cheap gear works just as good as the rest up to a point. I wouldn't shark fish with cheap stuff but for smaller table fare it doesn't take much money to put together a usable setup. As you've proven. Wish you and the channel the best of luck! Sincerely, a sub🤙

I'm 70, and grew up fishing the Florida lakes, rivers, and gulf using Zebo 33's, a Mitchell 300 (which I still have), glass rods, and landed my share of big fish on inexpensive tackle. I'll admit, I like the new high dollar stuff, but you are correct, when it comes to catching fish, you don't need to break the bank. For the person who is about to say you won't think that when you lose that PB; yep that could happen, but if I don't get it this time, I'll get it next time, and then I'll send it back home.

Lots of good info here. I saw a steelhead fisherman tie that braid to leader knot. I need to start using it too. Way faster than the one I use out of habit. I collected oysters once. The ones in the wild are definitely razor sharp and with slice through any line without consideration of how expensive it is.🔪🪒

N let me say I love your channel becuz it's very informative n it's not like those others with the expensive setup. Cuz here where am from 1us is 2.71 in my exchange rate plus Shipping n clearing when it gets here. So watching your channel it helps me to choose good gears at reasonable price. For get the haters n continue to give us great content 👌. Ps I hope to start catching as much fish as u when I get my lures to Starr lure fishing

Does the line connected to the leader at that spot at the knot flow smoothly through the guides? Maybe if you do them right you don't feel it at all. That could be my problem, just asking. Also thanks for all the good tips towards the end of this video. Keep doing them like that and it'll be harder to stay away for a long period of time ever again! God bless JC!

Sheepshead prefer small crabs above all other baits. I have been fishing for sheepshead for nearly 40 years and always caught more on crabs than any other bait. Used shrimp, clams, tube worms, barnacles, and green mussels when crabs were not available but caught fewer fish.

Am I the only one screaming "Tighten your damn line!!!"? You fish with zero-line tension. How are you supposed to feel a subtle Sheepshead bite fishing like that? Line tension = feeling the Sheepshead bite. Otherwise, you get robbed and won't know it ever happened.
