Nice way of slowing progressing into functions! Also, teaching how to use the while loop before the for loop makes for a more understandable code from a newbie's point of view in my opinion. I just don't agree on not naming variables something descriptive, but for learning I think it's ok for now! It's been an awesome series to watch!! Keep up the good work Radu! o/

Short variable names are not my favourite either. I kept them like that to avoid excessive scrolling.

Hi Radu, first of all thanks a lot for these amazing lessons, my question after this playlist which are the next in order to follow ?
@Radu Жыл бұрын
I replied in another one of your comments. It's a bit hard to suggest because it depends on your (other) skills and level, in general.

(Sorry if this turns out to be a duplicate; I just lost the 1st draft.) So I am wondering: what do you *call* this process of scoping out mathematical (or other?) relationships amongst the components and elucidating a design accordingly? Mathematical modelling?
@Radu Жыл бұрын
Maybe mathematical modeling is not the right term since I'm not trying to represent some concrete thing using math. I would just call it geometry...
@mamavscience2977 Жыл бұрын
@@Radu Thx, but I'm looking for something more general. It would be a subset of our standard cognitive process and a superset of any particular branch of inquiry or endeavor...in the formal academic sense; informally it's just plain old *thinking,* and we're always doing plenty of it subconsciously. In the school system, it comes in with the introduction to algebra. Anyway, this lesson is the 1st place you do it in this curriculum, so I have to call it something on the "Javascript Playground" page I'm making on my web site. Maybe "relationship modeling."
@Radu Жыл бұрын
Maybe "relationship modeling" is a good choice.
