Can't wait to see this! I'm waiting on a scrambler 1200 myself and am planning on doing some touring around Canada with my partner on the back and I am very excited and interested to see what Danny thinks of being a passenger and as well what you think and how you feel riding 2 up for extended periods.

1200 cc is easily enough for two-up. I remember touring the Japanese Alps on a Suzuki DR250SH, girlfriend on the back. It was bloody cold, too.

"we will lay in the sun and look at the map"... That's optimistic.. "we will hide from the rain and fight the wind with the map" is my experience of UK touring. 😅 Cornwall is brilliant for touring. The coast road from lizard is fantastic. It is tiring tho, and watch out for idiot drivers on very narrow roads!
