why do i get a negative reading on a brand new PiD sensor?

Did you calibrate the sensor? A fresh air cal should reset the zero point, but ideally, you'd also do both a fresh air and a span cal.

@Allsafeindustries yes, I replaced the 10.6 v sensor, fresh aired and calibrated the sensor it is reading 0 in fresh air but has negative flashing beside it
