I think that Swae at one point was ready to go on his own and be a superstar, back in like 2018 he was peaking, but then he's sat cold for 5 years without many hits and really he just lost that star power. I wouldn't call them irrelevant at all, and they're poised for a comeback, but for being gone 5 years and only selling 50K-60K first week is not that great. Swae realized he isn't going anywhere unless its Rae Sremmurd, and even together as a group they're just not who they used to be.

These guys were arguable the best for like 5 years running straight. Their catalog can stack up against anyone's. What Slim is referring to is that at one point they had to take a break because he was drinking hard and smoking like 10 blunts a day and started to put staying high above the music.
