Cloth physics is actually pog for fur, as you can put more detail into it and make it more realistic by making thin, long strips and then applying either softbody physics or cloth physics to it, however thats very computationally expensive and i sadly dont think that it will be able to be used in a character because of lag.

I cannot agree more with you Raeal, Chillout VR is not horrible, it's just not fully developed because it hasn't gotten the attention from others that it needs. So, if Chillout were to be played more, it's gonna be even better than "VR Chat" with it's bs anticheat system. Give this place a chance, it doesn't ruin VR, it enhances it! You just need to be around when the big changes come along, then you will see Raeal wasn't just right, he was flat out SPEAKING THE TRUTH! i played CVR when ya Joined and within a Few min crashed bc the Servers where completely Overrun. But the EAC destroyed the Fun for me in VRC. All the Comfort Settings i had thanks to Emm Gone. Yes they added a few into the Client but it's just not the same anymore. All the Performance i had thanks to Emm is also Gone. Not to forgot way easier to get Crashed. i Still have to to more Stuff in CVR including the Stuff with the New Possibilities.

Your intro to chilloutvr just makes me think of how horribly things can and will go wrong when something eventually breaks, ambition has a nasty habit of doing that so frankly I hope that they made behind the scenes manageable and not held together by duct tape, that being said I'd be down for a video dedicated to explaining the ins and outs of this thing :v

VRChat needs to have effective competition, but ChilloutVR still has a long way to go to get there. People commenting here that CVR is better in every way and/or that there is a mass exodus to CVR are dreaming. Just look at the steam charts for a dose of reality. There is a big spike from when VRChat implemented EAC, but the usership of CVR has already dwindled back to nearly dead since then. I've converted my avatar over to CVR. I've spent some time there, and I would like to see CVR succeed. But I think CVR is on a bad overall path which is leading it to failure. Specifically, CVR has been focusing it efforts almost exclusively on building any feature that VRChat doesn't have. Meanwhile, the actual core user experience and especially onboarding have been largely left underdeveloped. It's as if anything VRChat already does just isn't of much interest to them to work on. CVR needs to build up its core experience and provide a service which attracts more than just users who have a beef with VRChat. They need to refocus their efforts onto the aspects which are actually responsible for user retention. What they've been doing up to now with focusing on fancy features clearly isn't working. I mean, the novelty of those features makes for a fun video, but it's not working in terms of creating a growing userbase over time.
