Spent 4 yrs on 41 in the late 90’s. Great aeroplane and the wet film pictures in stereoscope were impressive.

I remember seeing in a 2 sqn Tornado in the gulf (I was usually bombers) the Sqn leader pilot was (unknown to me a well known P***k) anyway he rather pompously said to me remove the tapes? "Tapes" said I "What tapes" He threw a wobbly lol. How I chuckled

"3D glarses" or a stereoscope as they are known, the process being stereoscopy and measurement from that, photogrammetry...
