James further to my comment below , you control of the panning and zooming is so good that it really make one feel that you are flying alongside the aircraft you are filming. I just wish that the video had been longer, and as far as I am concerned there is nobody to touch your excellent camera work.

Thanks Gordon, I am very proud of this, I think its a great team effort. I was hoping to have it on youtube last night but the internet was toooo slow. I must admit after editing this, I have decided that Scampton is a must do Airshow, the backdrop as you can see is fantastic, shame about the weather but it made for some great cloud effects. Thanks again and keep tuned. PS see you at the Hall soon.

If it had not been for a banner in Lincoln advertising the Scampton air show we wouldn't of looked it up and booked it why was it not better advertised like on tv once a day even on ITV because people with no licence cannot watch BBC

I was there both days and the Lancaster didn't fly it was still grounded along with the spitfire ect.. only the p51 flew Also the eurofighter at the end was flying in blue skys... it was wet... windy... cloudy and cold all week end and there is no one in the tannoy..... he was speaking all through the flight

Hi Lee, the Lancaster was filmed on the Saturday from the north side It was given the ok to fly on the Saturday morning after a practice flight. The Lancaster did not fly on the Sunday though because of cross winds at Coningsby. With regards to the Eurofighter that was filmed both days. All of these were film over Saturday and Sunday at Scampton. Most of the Eurofighter display again was filmed on the Saturday and yes we did have blue skies on the Saturday. Sunday was as you say was very windy but all of this was filmed at scampton. I don't know how you missed the Lancaster on Saturday for sure it was a fantastic display.
