Nice work! Like the running text info at bottom of video, very informative. Also, Seletar airbase was Singapore’s first dedicated aircraft runway & air force base. After 15 February 1942 till end of Second World War, Japanese Navy & Army airforce also operated here. The 2 small buildings at each side of the base’s guard post gate were the sentry posts(guard post decommissioned after mid 2000’s) that I also did my guard duties while in military service. Thanks for the memories of my youth.

Thank you for your valuable comment. While Singapore is a nation that constantly seeks change, there are still a few places that preserves its heritage remain. This historical site beside the bus stop might go unnoticed by many, but it has played a significant role in Singapore's history.

Now an Aerospace area Rolls Royce,Bell Helicopters,GE,Pratt and Whitney are there also an airfield for local and businesses planes, spent 4 months there training some Singaporeans.

Thank you for your comment. Seletar Airbase became a hub for the aviation servicing industry. It is interesting to see that many UK companies and Singapore have maintained close ties even after the British withdrawal from East of Suez.
