RAF Typhoon scrambled out of Newcastle International Airport 23/4/20

This Typhoon was out on a training sortie and had a pre booked practice divert booked at Newcastle Airport. Basically meaning its carrying out a practice emergency divert if the aircraft had a problem requiring it to land. It would have gotten down to 500ft at the approach to the runway before putting the power down and climbing away from the airport to head back to RAF Coningsby.
