I did folkstyle wrestling for 5 years and just started Muay Thai last week I was wondering can I use my single leg defense from wrestling in Muay Thai or is it too different? Any help would be appreciated family 🙏🏽

when i grab a single leg, i guaranty we will end up floor. see: khabib grab single legs.. here there is gloves, so they cant actually grab properly. when u lean forward and extend ur leg (wrestling), they can pop a punch to ur face. too dangerous. so, creating distance and punch their face is a better option. (their hands busy downstairs- ur 1 hand creating distance, other hand is punishing).. notice: in both tech, u gave ur leg, dont bother (u want my leg, take it, i ll punish you for that). in wrestling u gave ur leg !! good luck..!! Note: interesting choice of you.. wrestling full contact, muay thai almost none (contact distance= hitting starts)
