2012, 2014 and 2017 are all sad endings at the Australian Open for Nadal. I wont even count 2019 cause he realistically had no chance against Novak but 2012 he was so so close, 2014 had he not been injured he mightve beaten Wawrinka (13-0 record against him previously), and was a break up and only 3 games away from winning 2017.

I like rafa but in 2014 stan played amazing playing better than anyone ..rafa real chance is 12 and 17 but he won in 2022 against Medvedev..so we don't want to look the past

Sadly he didn't play ..hope he will be back in Monte Carlo and win the title
