Rafina Greece 🇬🇷

Rafina is a picturesque port town located on the eastern coast of Attica, approximately 25 km east of Athens. The town is an important ferry port and a gateway to the Cyclades islands, which include Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, and Santorini.
Rafina has a long coastline with crystal-clear water and several beaches, including the main beach near the city center, which is surrounded by cafes, taverns, and shops. The beaches of Marikes and Kokkino Limanaki are located a bit further outside of town and are quieter and less crowded. Here, visitors can swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains undisturbed.
In addition to the beaches, Rafina also offers a variety of entertainment options and activities. Visitors can visit the picturesque harbor, dine in local taverns and restaurants, buy traditional Greek souvenirs, or visit the Archaeological Museum of Brauron, which is located nearby and displays ancient relics from the area.
Rafina is also a good starting point for day trips in the surrounding area, including the stunning mountains of Parnitha and Penteli, which offer magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The coastal town of Nea Makri and the Schinias National Park are also within easy reach of Rafina and offer visitors the opportunity to explore the local flora and fauna.
