So magnetic and funny goddddd 😭 Just like with Sam Reid, I know he has a whole thesis on Louis somewhere in his head that I would love to read. He brought so much needed life to the character that now I can not imagine the rest of this show without him taking a large role. the conversation about the magnolia tree jogged my memory re: s1e1 when louis is in the confession booth and he says "i laid down with the devil and he has his roots in me. all his spindly roots in me." the metaphorical roots of lestat's seduction vs the physical roots of the tree armand chooses to plant in louis' sacred space, the place where he holds the things that mean the most, the closest thing he has to a physical representation of his soul and armand let all his spindly roots push their way through the rocks until louis finally dug the thing up
