*At 3:44 there should be a should be a single electron on the central carbon of the intermediate radical species.
In this video I give a basic overview of the importance and mechanism of RAFT polymerization. I did my best to be brief and explain things clearly. If you have any questions or suggestions please comment below. Thanks!

Thank you a lot too. I recently decieded to lear a bit about Stereolithographie resins so i guess Raft is the same as Addition fragmentation chain transfer (AFCT) because i didnt find a good explaination for Addition fragmentation chain transfer (AFCT)

You're welcome! Interesting, but I believe its referencing the same process but without the word reversible. Technically a full acronym for RAFT would be RAFCT (Reversible Addition-Fragmentation Chain Transfer) , but I imagine they left out the c because RAFT sounds nicer.

do you explain the reactions accordingly to the first paper mentioned in the video describtion or do you add knowlede from somewehre else

They do talk about the mechanism in the first paper, but I find the figures and more detailed descriptions in the second paper more helpful. I believe it should be open access.

Thank you for your comment. I don't have a means to edit the video, but put a note in the description. I realized it was missing later on while recording.
