Wow this may be most scenic, spread out RV campground we've ever seen! Making us second-guess our reservations we made for next summer when we visit Mt. Rushmore. Thanks for sharing all the great information :)

Thanks for the video, just a quick update on the facility; I called them to inquire about a tent site and was informed they no longer offer tent camping.

That's a bummer. It is definitely set up for RV camping. Sorry to hear about the lack of tent sites.

We drove thru when we were out there in July. It was very nice. We stayed at Rushmore Shadows RV Resort. We felt it was closer to the groceries. It was more centrally locates to explore all the great places. I must say I was impressed with Rafter J. Rushmore Shadows had the best Big Rig sites , also, you can get the local TV. The only negative was their poor WiFi.

Cool. We stayed there 3 years ago. Was in the lower ranch area. Hope you took the old train ride. My wife and 2 grandkids did while I drove ahead and set up the tripod and camera to get some videos. Enjoy

Fine video. We were in the area the first couple weeks in July. The area is truly beautiful. Did you go to Wall? We boondocked in the Badland Grasslands, about 3 miles outside of Wall. Beautiful.

Yes, we have been to Wall a couple of times. Quite the place! We would love to do some boondocking there once our rig is set up to do so. Happy camping!

Very informative, thank you. Do they have any paved sites? My husband is in a wheelchair and gravel sometimes is difficult for him and if it rains grass/mud is a no go.
@TodayisanAdventureDay
@TodayisanAdventureDay 3 жыл бұрын
I do not recall seeing any paved sites, but my recommendation would be for you to contact the ranch. Hopefully, they could accommodate you. We were very impressed with the entire place and the staff was very friendly.

What’s the best time of year to go here.
@TodayisanAdventureDay
@TodayisanAdventureDay 2 жыл бұрын
That’s a great question. I bet it changes so much various times of the year. The ranch is expansive enough that even when it is at full capacity there is plenty of “elbow room”. We loved our time there!

Have you thought of making a page on Pinterest and cross-promoting your channel there? I pinned this to my "campground" page. It'd give a second platform's algorithm to grow your youtube channel? I obviously think you have quality and can get more people who will enjoy your videos!

Dunno...just checked their website. $75 per night. I didn't see anything for .a month or three months. $2.000 a month is kind of steep. Even half that is too much. And their "Deluxe" sites are a cool $100. On the positive side, it keeps out the riffraff. The Deplorables and Irredeemables. Like me. .
