The South Fork Boise River, located in a large roadless area, is a changing river due to mud slides and rock deposits following large fires. Rafters need to be aware and prepared for changeable rapids. The Buffalo Creek rapid, which used to be a Class 3, is now a Class 5 Rapid. This video shows the different segments of the river, and how one can better prepare for a rafting trip.
