As always, phenomenal!! Thank you for the post. Who is your accompanist on the Pakhvaaj? Could you bring out a CD with Pakhvaaj accompaniment in a purely lyrical and meditative mode. (Tabla can sometimes take over and reduce the lyricism. No offense to Tabaliya-s!)

Hameer is one of my favourite Raag.. But I never looked for a flute rendition of it.. Always vocals somehow.. I now realise what I missed.. Amazing Milind ji..

Thanks! It is still challanging to get Ga-Ma-Dha with meend(glide) and with ease .That is very important practice is the only means we have as my Guruma annapurnaji tells always .I am trying my best to improve because Hameer is so beautiful.

@dkmkartha.You are absolutely right.Pakhavaj has a much meditative and mystic sound that's why it is an integral part of Druvpad style I love that I'm fortunate to get lessons from Guruma.Still trying to perfact myself. It is not Pakhavaj it is low octave tabla played by pt Rajendra Antarkar.I've played with Pt Prakash Shejwal on the Pakhawaj Raga Desit is on you tube.I'll play more of it in future
