Some musicians now talk about spiritual knowledge in between concerts. The krithis themselves are born out of spiritual jnanam and they can speak for themselves without any explanations. That too from people who are not experts in that field. The musicians job is just to sing bringing out the essence and spirit of the song. Even to explain the musicality is sometimes a deterrent in a concert. They can do it in a music workshop. I appreciate the genuine humility in Shri. Sanjay Subramaniam

Thamizhisai -- Isai Thamizh - Only language in the world has the Iyal isai and Nataka thamizh... had three academies at a scholarly level for thousands of years long before anyone started at this level....Sanjay has got it right when he says Tamizh does need these musicians contributions.... Tamizh has reached top state during Silapathikaram... Yazh instrument is the mother of Veena.... Thaviul and Nadhaswaram... During Nayakkar time, Tamizh was suppressed from singing , speaking, writing... It is why these composers did in Telugu even though they lived in Thanjavur.... I wonder how would it be if Sanjay sings Aka Nanooru and Pura Naanooru!!!... Imagine the Narumugaiye.... in Unni's voice...
