Re: Abhishta Varada. I think your reference to Tiger Srinivasacharya should read as K V Srinivasa Iyengar, who was the brother of Tiger Varadachari. In any event, a book published by Sri Thyaga Brahma Mahotsava Sabha, Thiruvaiyaru, claims that Abhishta Varada was composed by Saint Thyagaraja.
