I am seeing a pattern of observations from judges regarding the correct pronunciation of words by the brilliant singers. I think the gurus of these participants need to be given insights on how to focus on correct pronunciation of the words in particular telugu and sanskrit kritis. Leading Sabhas can take a lead and conduct workshops to these teachers through "train the trainer" kind of programs. Every school has a unique "paani". Without compromising on the "Paani", the singers need to be trained on correct pronunciation of words. Just a suggestion from a music lover who has a very limited knowledge about the nuances of carnatic music.
