RAGE 2 DLC Rise of the Ghosts - Walkthrough

I played through the new RAGE 2 DLC Rise of the Ghosts. I won't show all sidequests in this video because they are all the same. It is a shame that the main story is only about an hour long. It is a wasted opportunity to have such a huge island on the one hand and not many meaningful quests and locations on the other. Remember the DLC costs about 15 dollars, unless you already have the Deluxe Edition.

The games combat and mechanics were amazing imo but the story, the world and what you have to do was so boring

yes the world could have been better fullfiled but I still had fun to explore it and the main thing of this game it's actually the combat not the exploration so it doesn't affect the fun, I think I never had such fun playing a fps it is one of my favorite game ever because of the combat,no game have insane combat like that and for the story, we don't care about story we don't play games to watch movies but to play lloll but yeah a good story it's always better but I Truly deeply don't play rage for story

You still have to go in and buy it after the big update. Restart the game, go to gunbarrel and go backoutside.

It appears my game has glitched. It wont start Mission 3 for the DLC. I've already completed all the locations, but Keenan wont call me back.

Was having the same issue. I replayed a save i made just before like 3 times and nothing happened for at least an in game day. However, i reloaded it again and did the defend the beacon one and then turned on the other beacon on top the broken bridge, bu this time i flew from the former mission, to the bridge one, turned it on and the started flying again and after about a minute Keenan came back to me over the radio and initiated the next mission. Very weird and was surprised it did it. Keep trying to reload your earliest save just before its supposed to happen and try flying around instead. I don't know if that made it work (cant see how) but for some reason it triggered it when i did the very first time.

For those who can't start the dlcs go to any settlement, save your game aka new save file and exit the game. Load up your new save, go outside the settlement and you should get the call from the woman to start the ghosts dlc.

Hi. i did it as you say, but never appears the new mission. I went to the location without the calling, but the ARK doesnt exist. And never start the new mission dlc. Please any help?

@@Lord.vader2 Did you select the continue button when you started it up again? It won't work then, you have to go to Load Game and select the new save like I mentioned.

I think a dlc where you fight different bosses each one with one of your main abilities and a few of the other abilities like double jump, rush and hovering in mid-air. And the final boss has all your abilities plus similar weaponry would be interesting

to everyone with those starting issues try backing up your save then delete the content of the original save game folder. after that start a new game skip the intro save and exit. now put your old save back inside the save game folder and try to leave a trade city on that save. after i did this i got the phone call that startet the dlc mission.

I am enjoying the Rise of the ghosts DLC, been playing it for 6 hrs really good. Just found the 2 Arks for new weapon and new ability, I shall continue again tomorrow after work. :)

How do you activate the message to start it? Where is the hub?

A hub is for one of the bigger cities like Wellsprings: enter and leave again, the message should start.

looks boring. always the same textures and models. Rage 1 was much more atmospheric. The Dead City had its own charm. I do not understand that. to much open world and always the same processes. This is not a real one campagne. it repeats itself continuously. very disappointing.

this dlc is terrible. you fight the same wave of enemies over and over. not enough variety at all. the map feels even more empty than the main map. what a waste of $20.

Hey bro, is there any reason that you don't use your nanotrites/abilities/melee at all? Slam is very useful when fighting mutants or any enemy that swarms you and the black hole ability (can't remember what it's called at the moment). Crush or whatever it is called is also fairly handy but I didn't use it much after I got Slam. Barrier was pretty useless though.

Agree with you and with enhanced barrier although but once I set it in door entrance and 3 enemies went in after me despite they saw the deadly barrier which resulted in triple kill XD

but all quest r nicely close to each other and gunplay is so good, i can run there like headless chicken and just shoot and soot and shoot . no story needed, its not RDR2 lol

All you need to do is go to the metro and you'll see a blocked tunnel. You talk to a lady beside it and she will let you through to the "mainland"

Yes I think. The ghosts must have found out how to inject themselves with feltrite which gives them powers.
