My dad just recently had a stroke and RATM is one of his favorite bands. And this song had him bobbing his head and having a good time. And that meant everything even if only for a moment. I am grateful for the healing power of music.

The Refused & At the Drive-In to name a couple off the top of my head. The 90's was a great time for progressive music in general, hip-hop and metal/hardcore in particular. People were doing stuff that had never really been seen before, as the boundaries of the 'norm' really started to be broken down.

@@marylarsen2288 I just watched it too actually and watched the stream chat go nuts. I actually don't mind the Master of Time rendition, but only the beginning part. The Ocarina of Time soundfont makes the guitar solo sound absolutely horrible.

I know I'm late but the first time I heard this song was in 2020 and I thought it was a brand new song. Took me a while to find it. Then I learned it came out when I was 1 year old and I'm amazed. This song was way ahead of its time.

I would be at my local bar in my early 20’s all the private school college kids would call me a “Towny” whatever , but they’d be playing their Drake , Future , Miley Cyrus , whatever was popular at the time on the Juke Box we had there … Then I’d slip in and play some Rage and theyd look at me like an outcast.
