If anyone else is having this song and the rest of the album interrupted by false content warnings about "self harm" please send a feedback report to youtube. I can't tell if the system is flagging the album art or if people are mobbing on this album to get it removed from the platform but it's super annoying to have youtube pause between songs on this amazing album to tell me about content thats not present.

its 100% because of the cover, its litereally the legendary monk setting himself on fire (self-harm). And yes its extremely annoying to be interrupted because of it.

Too bad all the conspiracy theory-obsessed idiots like the QAnon cultists or Alex Jones'/Infowars' audience - granted, those 2 groups tend to intersect as many QAnon cultists are also Alex Jones/Infowars fanboys & girls & vice versa - also love telling people to "wake up" or "don't be like the rest of the sheeple," when interacting with people intelligent enough(doesn't take much intellect, either!) to recognize & point out the stupidity in their beliefs. It really waters down the meaning of the phrase "Wake up" when its been co-opted by the sub-70 IQ crowd who, in fact, need to wake up from the delusional beliefs they cling desperately to.

Honourable mention to GGGarth Richardson who produced this album... The fact that he had the intuition to stick them in a room together with a bunch of mics and have them play live off the floor like that was pure genius... considering most producers would NEVER do that. It somehow worked and they ended up with amazing quality recordings. You would never know they were recorded that way just listening to it.

Yeah, back in this... Wit' poetry, my mind I flex Flip like Wilson, vocals never lackin' dat finesse Whadda I got to, whadda I got to do to wake ya up To shake ya up, to break the structure up 'Cause blood still flows in the gutter I'm like takin' photos Mad boy kicks open the shutter Set the groove Then stick and move like I was Cassius Rep the stutter step Then bomb a left upon the fascists Yea, the several federal men Who pulled schemes on the dream And put it to an end Ya better beware Of retribution with mind war 20/20 visions and murals with metaphors Networks at work, keepin' people calm Ya know they murdered X And tried to blame it on Islam He turned the power to the have-nots And then came the shot Uggh! What was the price on his head? What was the price on his head! I think I heard a shot I think I heard a shot I think I heard a shot I think I heard a shot I think I heard a shot I think I heard, I think I heard a shot 'He may be a real contender for this position should he abandon his supposed obedience to white liberal doctrine of non-violence...and embrace black nationalism' 'Through counter-intelligence it should be possible to pinpoint potential trouble-makers...And neutralize them, neutralize them, neutralize them' Wake up! The opening riff is *almost* the same as Led Zeppelin's Kashmir, or at least very reminiscent of it.
