In the end both men were cut from the same cloth. Olu thought he was different to Richard because he didn't beat a woman but his controlling ways were on a higher level than Richard's, more insidious and ultimately more dangerous. He certainly was no knight in shining armour and should have moved on when he discovered the cheating. Richard was just a weak character, simple as that.

VERY good movie. I'm glad that I decided to watch it and finish it. I somewhat felt like things was going to end the way that it did. This is why we don't need to let anger, rage, bitterness, and unforgiveness rule us. We need to feel and process those emotions properly, and release them over to God. So, He can heal and deliver us from those feelings.

That was the thing I didn't like about Olu (or however you spell his name). LOL. Richard was depressed, and didn't choose to seek help for that unfortunately. And Olu knew that he would end up possibly responding that way. Due to him not being able to provide for himself and his wife. A real man don't want a woman working and paying all of the bills. And in the end she wasn't any better. Just letting people know how imperative it is to release rage, wrath, anger, unforgiveness, bitterness, and envy in a healthy manner. That was the whole point of the movie to me.

No. I rather she had chose to move on with her life altogether. They showed how the emotion rage can be very destructive from both sides of the spectrum. But her choice in the end wasn't very smart at all. It ended up being just as destructive, sneaky, manipulative, and conniving as them in the end. That's what they was showing with her character. That if you don't choose to process rage and anger correctly, and if you don't choose to let it go in the end. Then you will and can be very destructive to yourself and those around you in the end.

Is it wise for a married woman to suffer both emotional and physical abuse by her husband? This movie hits on all points except walk away rather than kill your husband.
@ladennayoung29392 жыл бұрын
Actually the point of the film was how someone choosing how to operate with rage will not only destroy that individual, but the person or people that they supposedly love that is connected to them. And how you should seek help to get healing and deliverance from that type of emotion. Before it's to late. Most people was so consumed with the husband beating his wife, and the domestic violence story line. Until the actual premise of the movie went over their heads entirely. Three characters had issues with rage, and they didn't handle that emotion well or properly at all. It wasn't just about Richard's issue. Nor was it just about Olu. It was about everyone choosing to operate with rage, and how it technically destroyed them in the end.

Wow! This movie was intense. That was a woman who "broke." Her husband was no longer safe to be around, and he took so much from her. Some women have a pact with suffering. Marriage is not a do or die affair. If it's no longer working, just walk out alive with everything in you intact. It's stupidity that makes women stay with men who beat them, not love

The first job, but not the second opportunity. In reality it was revealed that Olu sabotaged both opportunities for him. But he REALLY ruined the second opportunity for him. Richard let pride, depression, arrogance, and his ego get the best of him. Men tend to become very depressed, and in turn angry when they can't provide for their families.

How does Olu even feel seeing that he's directly or indirectly inflicting pains to the woman he claims to "love". He's a super wicked soul, very unforgiving and self-centered! He would have treated Temisan even worse that Richard did.
@67DrWatson3 жыл бұрын
I agree. Olu held on to his rage for YEARS. He eventually would have turned it on Temisan for cheating on him with Richard because deep down he blamed her for not turning away Richard's advances. Also, the calculation it took to destroy Richard's life was actually scary; he definitely displayed psychopathic tendencies. The ending was silly though, she didn't have to murder either of them. She should have left Richard long before she became pregnant and beat her badly enough to bring on a miscarriage and stayed clear of Olu altogether. If her friend still wanted to date him she should have avoided them until he showed his true colours.
@ladennayoung29392 жыл бұрын
@@67DrWatson The ending was actually perfect, and tied into the title and the premise of the film. That was the whole point the writer was making with the ending. I don't think she did the right thing, but the writer chose the ending to show how ANYONE letting rage rule them can end up being destructive in the end. To themselves and to everyone that was around them for the most part.
