Been a fan for over a couple of decades now, and while Mr. Wagner may have hit a few bumps in the road, I've always maintained that the underlying crusher was still there. I certainly mean the band no disrespect. I came across Rage with Reign of Fear. I loved how the sound evolved and how they (or Peavy) even ventured into the symphonic realm with Lingua Mortis. Black in Mind and Missing Link certainly are S tier albums. The Victor years were great, though his coming in on Ghosts was a bit awkward for the whole band, but there are still tracks I revisit. I would, however, call that a bump. And more recently, 21 was not a great showcase (but again this is just the opinion of a 59-year-old metal head who worships at the altar of Metal). I was working in a record store when Metalica dropped Kill 'em All. And a fan of Saxon since Wheels of Steel. I've loved Rage's most recent output and rank it up there with the best of both the Victor and pre-Victor years.@@Godzilla30801

@@StevenMazz1 Ah I see. I agree that 21 wasn’t the best lyrically, but I actually really liked it musically. And Ghosts is actually my second favorite album by them lol. I’m a pretty new fan if that makes any difference. Found them in 2020 and been hooked ever since.
