@@forsakenace9577 I get that, political rap gets old real quick. When I think about it Sam’s ‘ political tracks’ are actually more like topical tracks. @forsakenace9577 I disagree. They're not politically motivated. That's the msm demonizing one side and you falling for it. They're motivated by your fucking eye balls. The obvious shit. Not inherently political

@@forsakenace9577 95% of life at the core revolves around politics, when you become a proper adult weather you realize it yet or not its called life. The whole buzzword "political" makes people not wanna talk and resolve issues . Me personally id rather listen to relatable music i can emotionally connect to. 98% of rap today is repetitive about doing drugs, killing, being rich and flashy, nasty women, how cool it is to be a gangster and to be in disgusting Hollywood with there hidden messages, basically a bunch of degenerate losers, But hey if that's your gig that's on you. One of the many points to music is to get a message out for people to think and talk about it but as soon as the word political gets thrown in there people immediately shut it down or join a color cause facing and resolving issues together is to hard to deal with. Yep that was a shot at Tom and his clique and he has a point. Initially Tom was original, had a message and honestly even if you disagree with some of his points he hit home with others which made him relatable. I am no fan of his but I like some of his stuff. Unfortunately he started pushing quantity over quality, his message became very repetitive and respectively boring. Even most of the reactors stopped reacting to his stuff simply because it got really old really quick. He now tries some stunts such as the Ben Shapiro track and shorts to try and engage his fanbase to push him to the top and it seems to be a bit sad... We get it, you were poor, you made it as an independent artist, you have millions of views and fans, you are antiwoke... That is really sad because Tom puts himself in a box and lets his antiwokism to be his defining character... kind of ironic if you think about it. And the worst part is that he did not need that, he simply needs to diversify the topics of his songs lower the quantity and increase the quality of the stuff he releases and he will get to the top... but I guess the grift keeps grifting and the dollars you get are like drugs...

He most definitely is speaking about Tom MacDonald & not just in Verse 3 but also in Verse 1 when he talks about never begging to get a billboard plaque, Which we all know that TOM definitely does that to the point where I actually turn off notifications from Tom after he drops a new song/video because your gonna get a million a Reels of Tom saying "WE ARE ________ MANY DOWNLOADS AWAY FROM #1, PLZ GO DOWNLOAD" & dude does it non stop........ So yup he definitely speaking about how Tom also doesn't ever dig deep into his political topics at all & what he does is just toss out the topics of the day like Trans, immigration,Guns, Religion,Free speech but he doesn't actually give you any substance & instead you just get BUZZ WORD TOPICS to Feed the people who agree with him .....

The reason I support Tom for going down that avenue is that Tom is just showing the music industry the middle finger and that independents can do it without the big corporations that are dominating the industry and backing artists where in the end, they're running every aspect the artists lives via contracts. However, I'm with you about the notifications though... It's annoying...

Nah, not feeling this. I really dont like ego centric music. You can be good without telling me you are, show it, dont say it. Artists like Tom McD and Dax elevated rap to talk about topics more important than n*gg*rs, hoes, bitches, ass, cocaine, and capping some gangsta. Whether you feel like it's only surface level stuff or not, we are starting to see more music that talks about subjects that make one think. No, I dont like all of Tom McD's music either, nor do I agree with everything he has said, but at least people are talking about it, and it is talking about subject matter that is making people think about life and the body politic.
