This quest was a dlc in MHGen called ‘Fire Emblem:Warding Despair’ if you can imagine having to do this hunt with High Rank gear at best. It was a quest where every hit other than his charge or tail whip was an instant KO, those moves would also OHKO you as a gunner though. The annoying part is that you had to do this quest to get the meta set in Gen as it gave you parts for the lodestar set which was one of the very few sets with crit boost, which is arguably the best skill in the game behind weakness exploit. It was and still is one of the few quests where I had to completely switch my strategy for and was forced to use the Teo Bow. Newer slos still is one of my more shaky monsters to deal with which is why I enjoy hunting him.
