Plum Daimyo Hermitaur is actually appreciably different from normal Daimyo Hermitaur, even factoring in its Sunbreak additions. I'd love to see it come back!

The crab-etizer story reminded me of when I was in Florida and I got a soft shell crab sandwitch thinking gitd be a patty or shredded meat. Nope. I took a bite and took the top bun off to reveal and entire crab still in its shell just on a bun with sauce. Found out that day you can just boil and ent them straight up that day. Don't know if I'm scared but it left a mark on my psyche.

I just had an awesome idea. I t would be amazing if there was a carapaceon based on the decorator crab that attaches all sorts of different shit to its body, both natural and human-made. It could find like Bishaten, using the various objects/materials attached to its body as weapons and projectiles.

I find it so funny how scared of a coconut crab people can be when my first instinct when I saw it was "mmmm that looks tasty". As it turns out though, that I am the exact kind of person that was a problem, because these giant slow moving crabs had/have their populations decreasing for that very thought process. On a related note: Plum Diamyo looks the tastiest out of the carapaceons.

you know, seeing Plum Daimyo Hermitaur in this video makes me appreciate 4 Ultimate more - and marginally better than Sunbreak. in Sunbreak, we have subspecies... but it's only the monsters that were introduced there (Flaming Espinas counts. this is the game that introduced base Espinas to the mainline). in 4 Ultimate, however, if a monster is in the game, then so is it's subspecies. every last monster in 4U also has its Subspecies, Rare Species and Variant in the game. there's lots of them. and i love it. we were rather close to getting all subspecies for nearly every base monster in Sunbreak, yet we didn't. there are exceptions such as Coral Pukei Pukei (i mean, where would he fit?), but we didn't even get Fulgur Anjanath. it would have taken too much time and money, that's a fact - and i couldn't care less if there's a subspecies you hate. i would have welcomed mine with arms outstretched - but Sunbreak doesn't feel like "4 Ultimate's sibling", so to speak, with that lack of monster variety. not to me.
