I've been testing out Llanowar Envoy in Raggadragga. It solves the problem of only drawing dorks that make green mana, and its ability is technically a mana ability. Because you often need a category of creature rather than a specific creature, you can use Signal the Clans and Threats Undetected.

I have a raggadragga deck and you did very well describing it. The only thing I saw was that you need to spend 7 mana on a spell. The spell doesn't need to be 7 mana. So the wurmcalling only needs x as 3 to start with buyback. Also a reason why I don't play anarchomancer since it forces you to pay less for all your regular 7 drops. Cheers for the content!!

Good catch; I'll cut Anarchomancer.

Hi friend! Love to see one of my favorite commanders here. What do you think on adding Thousand-Year elixir to the combo pieces?
@MTGUshuaia8 ай бұрын
And "haste"
@AmmiO28 ай бұрын
I prefer cheaper hasters like Concordant Crossroads and Mass Hysteria. I usually don't want TYE unless the Commander itself has a tap ability.

one of the powerful and unique raggadragga pieces that was missed here is panglacial wurm. with a taps-for-mana-equal-to-its-power dork and commander in play, you can cast any of the x-cost tutor spells, pay 7 mana to get your untap and +7/+7 trigger, and then cast panglacial wurm from the library, getting you yet another untap and +7/+7 trigger, and then find temur sabertooth and go infinite. would definitely recommend any raggadragga deck playing these combo lines to run it since it gives you tons of redundancy, and because it's stupid as hell

Good suggestion.

I was a bit surprised to see this series since iirc I thought you weren't very fond of EDH. Are there any decks in particular you enjoy playing? Personally I've been having a lot of fun trying to build a deck that uses Animar + Bard Class + Song of Creation to spit out a bunch of spells at a low cost.
@AmmiO28 ай бұрын
I prefer playing EDH decks that have a non-linear combo (i.e. they don't rely on 1 narrow combo), have the ability to generate value and pull ahead of other decks, have multiple paths to win, and can come back from a losing position or a low resource position. I enjoy traditional EDH, i.e. "battlecruiser magic". My problem with modern day EDH is the heavy push from Wotc card design and commander products towards generic value engines and combos.

Can you do a competitive commander marathon since that's now a thing on mtgo?

You may be interested to a new card from fallout: Bighorner Rancher It adds green equal to the greatest power of creatures you control. Other than that you deck looks fairly stock

Kami of Whispered Hopes and Cradle Clearcutter will also do it
@hellNo1166 ай бұрын
@@billvolk4236 those add based on there power. bihorner rancher does it based on the greatest power amongst creatures you control. like selvala does. without the pay a green. i mean it doesn't make perfect mana like selvala as well. but for low color or a mono green deck is superior since you only have to play big creatures. you don't have to invest in a counter strategy or other ways to buff creatures power
