44:35 there is a shot of lorraine’s eyes, that scene was from the beginning of the conjuring 2. this implies that both lorraine and irene are descendants and both have the eyes, which means they are somehow related. the actresses are also sisters irl. how cool! the ending credits also is the prequel to the first conjuring where the warrens hosted a seminar and they showed footage of frenchie.

DID YOU ALL NOT NOTICE?! Not only did they show Sister Irene and her mother, but also Lauren's face and that of Saint Lucy. How did you not notice Lauren’s face, it was literally there! Anyway, the plot thickens... remember that scene where the girl appeared in Warren's hallway? That was a major foreshadowing moment! This implies that Saint Lucy's descendants are scattered all over the world, and guess what? Lauren Warren might just be one of them! This revelation is a game-changer, and it makes the story even more thrilling and mysterious.

This final look from Irene is because she knew that Frenchie had not been freed from Valak, so much so that in the first film of The Nun and the first film of The Conjuring They show how the Warrens deal with his case, and he ends up saying something that traumatizes Lorraine, something that Ed says he never asked her what it was

The funniest thin about this is just my (Catholic raised) roommate's reaction when I was telling her about the plot of this movie when she just lost it when I was like "and then all the main female characters turn out to be descendants of St. Lucy." and she just went "St. Lucy!? They're descendants of St. Lucy!? Famously virginal St. Lucy!? I wonder how they managed that one!" So yeah not only did they manage to rewrite Loraine's powers as holy saint superpowers and re-write her family tree they also managed to devirginize one of my roommate's favorite saints apparently XD I'm surprised the Catholics aren't up in ARMS over this movie.

Fantastic reaction as always guys. End of the Conjuring Universe until the next release. Watching this at the cinema on release night was great, lots more jumps than the first. I feel the phone call at the end credit scene was for the warrens to go investigate the possession of Maurice which I really hope they show at some point. Thanks for another great reaction. To this day I can't understand why a demon wants holy powers of heaven...nor do I understand how he was able to even touch them without being cast back to hell. These side directors really make the general plot Wan set up so convoluted for no reason. Valak behaved more like a slasher film serial killer with powers than it did a demon. To boot it finally got the eyes and still did nothing with them but get beat again. Really disliked this one, the plot got kind of crazy and a lot of things seemed odd. Glad you guys enjoyed though, can't wait for more reactions from you guys!

The Nun sucks. It’s easily the worst villain in the conjuring universe but somehow people LOVE it. It’s so hokey.

Director Michael Chaves considered bringing back Father Burke as a zombie in The Nun II, but ultimately decided against it. Burke's absence in the sequel allowed for a focus on new characters and fresh storytelling. Valak taking on the form of Burke wouldn't have fit well with Irene's character growth and emotional journey in the sequel.

My least favorite part of this film is that, due to the first film connecting Frenchie to the case where Lorraine first encountered Valak that was hinted at in the first and second Conjuring films, we already know that Frenchie makes it through and that Valak is not stopped in this film. Honestly, if this film was an origin of Valak, it would have been better. Hell, I wouldn't have minded if it was THE case that the Warrens had with Frenchie.

Worse than the first one and also the worst "horror" movie i've ever seen, it's more like comedy and all jumpscares are predictable, the ending is disgusting and it's just a waste of time, only good thing about this movie which is the only time i almost shit myself was when the girl went down the stairs and valak was in front of her, that was the only positive thing about this movie
