You can study till n4 on your own from KZbin and even n3 with some books within approximately a year, thereafter join a Japanese language school for half a year to take n2, btw you can start watching and understanding anime after n3

Normalising bullies and ragging is the stage where you start accepting criminals in the society and normalise injustice. Short story:- When my batch was in 1st year in college we were ragged by our seniors (2nd years). They used to do moral policing and harassing. They still carried their same mentallity when our batch got in 2nd year. Until, one time when some of us got fed up and opposed them and got some of them suspended and fined. Then, they (our seniors, 3rd years) tried to come after our entire batch in our hostel but things were different then. We were in 2nd year and used to their threats. So, our entire batch got united against them and since we were more in strengths they had to back down and then our college had to interfere. We made our seniors protest outside our hostel (2nd and 3rd year used to stay in the same hostel) for a whole night and we were sleeping in our rooms. 😂 So, stay united against the bullies but be respectful to your seniors too. Also, be a senior to whom your junior would look upto and get inspired. We changed some of the senior-junior interaction things back then and hence even today we are respected as the best batch by our juniors.
