Wonderful...! However, I also feel that the volume for the vocalist's mic should have been kept a bit higher than that for the accompaniments as his voice is getting drowned at times; But both mridangam and the Ghatam players simply excel !! What a nadam in mridangam..! I listen to this over and over again just for the mridangam --simply outstanding. Please add the names of the accompanying artists for mridangam and Ghatam on the title if possible...Thanks.

technically there isnt any "suitable" sound in the world of carnatic music.Thats why it is considered divine. Here though the sound quality is so poor. Check for other sid sriram carnatic pieces

Please Anna, don't say so. We are ardent admirers of this great trendsetter. He has infused not just Bhakthi in a new way, but has also taken Carnatic music to another level, to cater to the Newgen. His movie songs themselves are so rich in every aspect of rendition that anybody who listens to his voice would get carried awaiy in devotion. Such blessed is Sid. He is a great inspiration. And, Kadhanakudhookalam is such a treat, that even those who are hearing Classical Indian music for the first time, would get swayed. And, when Sid is rendering it, God!!! what a delight!!! Like Arun Icecream's Peach Melba flavour!!

The energy of the singer is all wrong for this genre of singing it’s like a beggar in a king’s costume on a stage !sorry but that’s how his singing for this rendering feels like !if you sing like rock star on the Carnatic lyrics and ragas this is the result !total flop this song by Sid!please change your notion of westernising Carnatic songs and lyrics and spare us the agony of bad singing techniques!let Carnatic music alone sing pop soul music which you excel in!

I ain't a pro in Carnatic music but to the extent i have followed , i see him putting too much pressure as if you he finding difficulty in applying the Ragas , even his facial expressions say he finds difficulty singing . Music is something that should come out at ease and smooth
