dude, the point of mario kart is make it intense and fair, if 1st or 2nd place people overlap everyone else, everyone will complain about it and then the game dies and you will complain about the best players overlapping everyone. not to mention, people will have reasons to smuggle their best items.

It doesn’t though. X makes too many mistakes and doesn’t keep track of his items well. You can literally block every red shell if you know how to play and one blue shell comes a race. If you can’t deal with that then you suck
