You probably 2 shotted that bile titan because you had a PS5 player in your team. There is and has been a bug that lowers the enemy hp GREATLY when a PS5 player is part of your team.

The titan dieing in 2 shots is usually because a PS5 player was hosting and another player thats attacking the titan i on pc its been a thing for awhile and is a reason the railgun is good

Run this setup but with rover, railcannon, and eagle airstrike. Can solo any bug breach as long as it doesn't spawn like 2 chargers and a bile Edit: I've 2 shot biles as well. Not sure how it works, but I think its about how the lighting arcs. I've noticed when I do 2 shot it's a direct shot to the head. Most times tho it won't arc to the head. Thats what I have observed

Not exactly the same but I’ve noticed when I’m up on high ground and shoot a bile titan square in the back with the arc thrower, it dies within a couple shots.

The Arc thrower does not do that much damage to bile titans when you’re playing with cross-play off. I play on pc, I made this same build yesterday and did almost no damage to bile titans. The devs need the fix whatever is going on with bile titans and support weapons. That being said, cool vid bro.

I use the blitzer and arc thrower as my main loadout along with jet pack. Blitzer does well to deal with those bugs that get close which the arc thrower cant deal with, plus the mobility of the jetpack. my biggest enemy is fellow helldivers and airstrikes

I heard if you arc the bile titan in the head while its spewing it does extra damage and kills them. Thats probably what happened.

Not true. It's a bug when you play with a host who is a PS5 player. Railgun and Arc Thrower kill titans in 2 shots in this scenario.

Nice build, always fun to try out themes. Next try out a Space Cowboy build: marksman rifle (RP it is a lever action), Senator(this should be your primary use weapon), jet pack, EAT-17, and pick up a break action shotgun from the map. The break action can do good damage and is fun to mess around with.

I've been running the Arc for a week now, and I've seen exactly what you're talking about with the Bile Titan. I think it's arcing to multiple hit boxes within the titan, and doing full damage to each one. Basically your 2 shots are hitting it 6 times. I can't get it consistently, but it always makes me giggle when it works.

When fighting the Terminids, I like pairing the Arc Thrower with the jetpack given it is crucial to position this weapon on high ground to make the best of it. Against the Automatons, however, I can't do without the shield generator backpack because that high ground is usually going to be very exposed to return fire so I needed the extra survivability.

Something that really made the blitzer shine for me is that you don't have to aim at enemies while charging the next shot. This might seem useless, but if you aim at a Hunter it will automatically jump to the side to try and avoid your shot, and this causes them to naturally spread out and flank you. Once I learned how to take advantage of that, having all your hunters bunched up with the rest of the horde is a HUGE boon to your maneuverability and it allows you to manage them and react to pounces much more effectively. Side note, your arc thrower Titan 3 shots are a PS5 thing, or more specifically the same issue that causes the railgun inconsistencies. It's not aim assist or anything input related because PC with controller can't get the same results, so it's most likely an issue with the netcode or latency causing the same shot to deal damage multiple times. It's much more consistent with a PS5 player in your lobby but it does happen on rare occasions with PC only too, PS5 just probably makes the online conditions much easier to achieve

if u find urself killing bile titans with the arc gun that's prob because there is a ps5 user on ur team. The well kown ps5 bug does not affect weapons like the rail gun or the arc gun, it affect the bile titan hp pool and weakpoint dmg recived. So any wep capable of penetrating it's armor will prob kill a bile titan.

I like to plant my 500kg then when the Bile Titan is in the right spot, I will run up to the titan to stop him. He stops and then tries to stomp you. If you are quick to read it, you can get out the way, while leaving them standing still while the bomb comes down. Also lot of fun to get other Titans to spit on each other :P Never had the 2 shot arc on them yet though, and I slap them with it all the time.

I found that orbital gatling barrage pairs really well with arc thrower at just holding down bug breaches and providing crowd control for your team. I also run the slugger instead of the blitzer simply to deal with stalkers and bile/nursing spewers that get too close since the slugger staggers them, and does way more damage than the blitzer.

I have 2 shot multiple Titans and for me its has happen in only these 2 instances: 1. Being at max range aiming for the head. 2. Being anywhere from semi close to mid range with bodies in the way forcing you to arc your shoot. These are the only instances where I 2 shot them. We share the same opinion of the actual shoot arcing through the Bile multiple times.

Please don't take mortars vs bugs. Maybe in a well-coordinated group it's fine, but not with randoms. Most bugs are melee units, which means most of the time when you're getting swarmed the mortar will shoot where you and your teammates are. EMS is fine though.

Jar5 dominator is my goto primary with a rover instead of the tesla tower. Rover handles the hunters that sneak through and the dominater makes its namesake against any medium targets(stalkers)
