I'm surprised that I could still learn something new about Darkstone. Some of these i already knew about, but that 2nd character legend exploit to gain levels in that way is something i didn't know about and is exactly what i need right now! 😊

On the playstation version, there was no bank and you could only do single player

Here are some glitches that I encountered in the PC version: - The unique 2-handed mace with the "pushes target back" function sometimes causes enemy hitboxes to screw up, essentially rendering the target invulnerable - Some custom quests (especially poorly-made ones) sometimes tend to put a glitchy item in your inventory, that can be only removed if you mess around with the "Deposit" function in the bank - The game tends to have HORRIBLE sound errors with "Soundblaster Live" cards. I remember once the "Teleport" sound effect becoming something, that can be described as both nightmare fuel and earrape.

I seem to remember an exploit that was patched in steam version. Make a bunch of monks and sell resurrection books. Make quick gold for character just starting out... but now it seems resurrection books sell for 33 a piece. Also, that 2nd character legend exploit is hilarious.

There's a theoried glitch that if you play Darkstone for PS1 on a Playstation 3, your experience bar will start to glitch out by roughly level 47, making it impossible to get to level 60, i'm currently working on proving that theory wrong as i'm currently at level 57. Hopefully by busting this theory, all you would need to do is grind like hell as your experience would still going up, just that the bar is glitched

I wouldn't say the bar is glitched then. More like due to the PS1 version's poor coding/programming, the intended XP curve is a lot steeper for no reason. Similarly to how the Attributes scale your stats way worse by comparison.

@@Ragnamune You have a very valid point, the attribute scaling is a flaw within the game, but i managed to grind to the point where everything is at least over 6600 for my character, one hit kills in hero mode is nice.

scratchyrecords198 I had a similar issue as well. Only really way to play legend on ps1 is via game shark. That’s how I did it.
