That's a pretty uninformed thing to say. You imply that solely by cheating Ragnar spelled out his doom, but there were many things that eventually broke him. A massive one was losing Lagertha. However, as someone else said, he would no doubt do it again knowing that he got his other sons. "What kind of King abandons his people! What kind of Father abandons his sons?" A father can love his children without ever seeing what they truly end up becoming, and Ragnar would have been proud of what his sons managed to accomplish in the end.

Wish they would hve kept it going for more seasons of course with the best two ❤️s I know in reality he had many wives bit this is a show we can bend all the rules and had things go a totally different way but I understand the show wanted to depict the show as close as it could to the reality and totally respect tht I luv history of decades upon decades of tht time period and know there were many stories to be told.
