SERVER IS CLOSING. Just saw the news on the discord, some players started doxxing the owner and releasing personal info. It really sucks, i was actually enjoying it for a week now

As of December 10, 2023, the admin decided to close the server due to some idiots in a guild decided to doxx the admin. This video inspired me to play the server a few weeks ago then it closes. Fuck.

@@pewpewbang9009 There was a post on reddit a couple weeks ago by the dev that apparently they were getting doxxed and stalked really badly IRL due to this server so they decided to shut it down entirely. Really sad, cuz it sounded like this server would have been awesome.

@@pewpewbang9009 Likely wounded pride. Admin got doxxed by a player so he closed the server and post in the Hall of Shame targeting the doxxer. Later said he was gonna sell the game files or make it open source. But as you might expect from a server suddenly closing without warning people are gonna complain, a few did, he didn't like that so he decided to delete the game instead. There was talk of wanting to recreate the game with wiki as guide but a few days later the admin deleted the wiki.

RTM is like a whole different game but with Ragnarok Online graphics. I enjoyed how they changed the mechanics of the game.

return to morroc is my best RO experience since i first played the game back in 2005-6 i guess, the creator basically fixed all the problems with the game and inserted proper progression, it definitely is worth trying

@@fudomyoo77 Unlikely it comes back, but Ornstein is considering making all his source code public so there's a chance someone else makes it again. Him and his wife have been suffering from a bunch of doxxing and harassment lately, so I doubt RtM itself comes back.

Hey Frank, I'd have to go with Kingslayer based on that description (Orphan -> Thief -> Rogue -> Duelist -> Kingslayer) You start out as a melee mobber similar to a knight but you also get the support shield skills similar to Pally but once you unlock Kingslayer you can go deep into the supportive role and I would describe the class as the best parts of Priest and Crusader rolled into one.
